100% cotton ripstop poplin
A 3rd pattern Tropical Combat Coat with a back yoke and straight cuffs.
An originally patched Special Forces Jungle Jacket, worn in the immediate post-war period. It displays originally applied insignia, including a Special Forces SSI with Airborne and Ranger tabs, US Army branch tape, a Basic Parachutists Badge (Jump Wings) patch, a Pathfinder patch, 2nd Lieutenant collar rank, and an Infantry branch collar patch. A dedicated and qualified Special Forces officer.
Very good condition with signs of real wear - All buttons, fittings and fixtures are present. The contract label is present and legible. Some fading/discolouration is present. The collar is damaged, but is not particularly noticeable when worn and may be easily repairedĀ
