60s Vietnam War Vintage Thai Tailor-Made USAF Party Suit - Small
A custom party suit, made by Maharajah tailors in Udorn, Thailand. It is adorned with originally applied Asian-made patches, including a novelty "Fly United F*ck a Duck" patch, a "Southeast Asian Wargames Participant" patch, a US flag patch, and a U-21 UTE patch
Used primarily as a utility and liaison aircraft, the U-21 Ute entered service in the mid-1960s. It was valued for its reliability, short takeoff and landing capability, and ability to operate from rough, unimproved airstrips scattered across South Vietnam. The U-21 was used extensively for light transport of personnel and cargo, medical evacuation, and command and control support, often ferrying senior officers between bases. It also played a role in electronic surveillance and intelligence-gathering missions when fitted with specialised equipment.
Made with a lightweight 100% cotton poplin fabric
Excellent condition with very light signs of wear - All zips, buttons, fittings and fixtures are present and working.
